‘Fashion with Integrity’ is what ASOS call their company responsibility framework. As the company grew, it became clear that they would have liked a lot of definitive approach to company responsibility. In 2010 ASOS launched their Fashion with Integrity strategy, which was refined in 2011 to stay it in line with ASOS’s overall business aim: to be the world’s best fashion destination for those in their 20’s and 30’s.
The ASOS approach to company responsibility
They didn’t merely begin focusing on Fashion with Integrity in 2010. It’s invariably been a part of their corporate attitude and in 2008 they tend to started formalise the company responsibility strategy with the appointment of our head of corporate responsibility and therefore the starting of their moral trade programme. Since then they have improved the strategies to lessen the impact on the environment and have created massive strides in developing adjunct relationships with their suppliers and therefore the communities wherever they have got a presence. This early work helped them devise Fashion with Integrity as the framework for braving their biggest challenges.
Each year, they they are smashing their own records in sales and therefore the size of their product collections, workforce, and overseas growth. As they are growing they are producing a lot of jobs, facilitating native communities to prosper and are able to give experience, time and funding to a lot of charitable causes not only in the United Kingdom but also around the world.
However, they tend to produce a lot of carbon emissions, have a bigger demand for natural resources and are answerable for guaranteeing tight good working conditions for an increasing variety of workers. Their biggest challenges include:
reducing emissions from creating and sending merchandise overseas
developing lighter packaging and reducing waste
sourcing a lot of ethical materials
guaranteeing all of their suppliers operate fair and safe operating environments.
ASOS are astutely tackling these problems, and have set themselves bold commitments for improvement.
We wish them luck.

Before you can head out for an evening at the casino, you must first decide what you are going to wear. While this may seem simple, it sometimes can be a bit puzzling especially when going to a particular casino location for the first time.
People who use online casinos such as www.luckynuggetcasino.com/online-slots won’t have to worry about how they dress, however land-based casinos often have certain restrictions they place on dress. Following a dress code ensures not only a safe environment for all but its keep anyone from being offended.
While following the dress code of the casino is highly important, you may also have to consider the local climate. Anyone who has been to Las Vegas during the summer months knows that this desert town can become quite sweltering. Even though casinos are air conditioned, you may be walking the strip at night to visit more than one casino.
Given the weather, most Vegas casinos do permit people to wear shorts so long as they aren’t too short and are in good repair. Although if you plan to dine out while having your casino night, the restaurant may frown upon shorts.
You may need to look for other options that can also be cool such as Capri pants for the ladies and lightweight chinos for the men.
Women have a lot more options than men when it comes to dressing for the casino. While slacks are always in, women can select from a number of other styles. One of these is the maxi dress which is a floor length casual dress. They can be rather light and breezy when worn in the summer. They are often made with different types of material which helps to contribute to their popularity.
A sundress could also be another option so long as it does not reveal too much skin, something that is looked down upon in land based casinos.
Founded in 1889 by Jeanne Lanvin, Lanvin is the oldest French couture house and this luxury label is one of the leading brands in the worlds most famous department store Harrods.
So esteemed in the industry Lanvin has become an international byword for Parisian luxury, from fashion to footwear to perfumes to accessories.
Jeanne Lanvin was responsible for creating a style, a far reaching, all embracing style of elegance and refinement. Being a devotee of culture, Lanvin surrounded herself with artists and young talents from a number of fields, thus providing an outstanding cultural heritage. The house of Lanvin today continues this artistic tradition, especially in it’s advertising campaigns.
The house of Lanvin has been an independent company since September 2001, the current owners aspire to return this great French brand to its former prestige and to make it once again a successful enterprise.
The headquarters of the Jeanne Lanvin firm are, and they always have been, situated at 15 and 22 Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris , a street famed internationally for its standing in the luxury market. Over than 200 employees work on this site in the women’s prêt-à-porter, men’s prêt-à-porter, tailoring and accessories side of the business.
Today, under the joint creative directorship of Lucas Ossendrijver and Alber Elbaz the deluxe yet casual Lanvin shoe collections are renowned for their faultless quality and tenacious exquisite detail.
The Lanvin suede sneakers have gained a cult following for being the ultimate in designer comfort without compromising on style.
Once you have worn Lanvin shoes you won’t want to have anything else on your feet.
The Teen Choice Awards happened a couple of days ago and the surfboards have been handed out to various different stars but what we’re interested in s the red carpet.
Selena Gomez looked completely stunning in a form fitting black dress complete with double leg flash – yup the gorgeous dress featured two front splits to mid thigh showing off Gomez’s bronzed pins. She finished the look with nude heels, black nail polish and simple make up. She wore her hair down to complete the outfit.
Cher Lloyd looked, surprisingly, amazing. She carried off a subtle, simple style that completely suited her. Baring her stomach our favourite X Factor “star” wore a top and skirt complete with side bow. She accessorised with a chunky gold chain around her neck (whether it was real or not is still up for debate).
Miley Cyrus, the ever rebelling singer, went just a little S&M with her attire in a sheer shirt, black leather bra and leather belted skirt and when I say belted I mean… it looks like it was completely made out of belts; high waisted and sitting on mid thigh it showed off her long legs all the while showing off her MASSIVE diamond engagement ring with a big grin on her face and who can blame her? One thing Miley…get your nails filled in!
Other stars that dazzle were Demi Lovato, Little Mix and Lily Collins but the one part of the whole evening that will be forever remembered is Lea Michele’s emotional tribute to her late boyfriend Cory Monteith. This was her first public appearance since his tragic death.
Lea won Best Actress for her role in the high school musical show Glee.
Speaking from the heart Lea said “I just wanted to be here today to personally thank all of you and tell everyone out there how much all of your love and support has meant to me over these very past difficult few weeks.”
The latest summer fashion trend is not to do with clothing but is in fact to do with hair and it is all thanks to the Crazy In Love singer, Beyonce.
Yes yes, when Queen B unveiled her gorgeous new pixie cut it sent the social networking sites crazy with our very own Brit babe Emma (Watson) tweeted “Nearly got out my scissors this morning after seeing @Beyonce ‘s pixie cut.”
This new trend may have been started by Beyonce (or was it me? Seriously I had mine chopped a few weeks ago!) but she is not the first A list star to go for a dramatic cut.
Andrew Barton is hair stylist to the stars and explains the trend “The crop is actually the little black dress of the hairstylist world. It can make any woman look thinner, funkier and sexier. We’re expecting a flurry of women now wanting to follow suit.”
So who else went for the crop? Frankie Sandford of the Saturdays had her hair chopped in 2011, ditching her extensions and making the crop her signature style. This year Rita Ora spent hours in the hairdressers the very same day as Beyonce. Rita has revealed her own crop since. Who can forget Natalie Portman who shaved off her hair in 2006 when she starred in the V for Vendetta movie. It didn’t last and she has since grown it back.
Other stars include Mrs Beckham (2008), Anne Hathaway (2012), Kate Moss (2001), Dannii Minogue (2012), Helen Mirren (2011), Emma Watson (2010), Rihanna (2012), Charlize Theron (2013), Sharon Stone (2004)
Most recently the very lovely Karen Gillan shaved off her hair for her part as Nebula in the spanking new movie Guardians of the Galaxy (set for 2014) and may I say, it really suits her! She revealed her new look at San Diego Comic Con where she pulled off her wig during a panel interview, to lots applause from the audience.
