The A|wear story began almost 40 years ago they started out as part of Galen Weston’s tremendously successful retail empire which included Holt Renfew in Canada, the Selfridges Group in the United Kindom and Ireland’s Brown Thomas Group.
In May of 2007 A|wear accomplished a successful management take over which was backed by the private equity company Alchemy Partners. Nowadays A|wear boast 25 stores in the republic of Ireland, 2 stores in Northern Ireland and 2 in England. They are constantly working on expanding our portfolio, so expect new stores to be opening in the near future.
