Baracuta is based in Manchester and owned by the Miller brothers. In 1937 they designed a rainproof jacket that has become the world’s most famous Harrington jacket, the G9.

The G9 is a casual jacket with side pockets, raglan sleeves and ribbed cuffs. Throughout its 70 years many celebrities have been seen wearing the jacket. Elvis wore a Baracuta in Kid Creole in 1954, Steve McQueen was photographed in his in 1963. In 1966 both Alf Ramsey and Frank Sinatra donned G9s, and Thierry Henry also wears one in his va-va vooom car ad.

Baracuta’s collection also consists of knitwear, polo shirts, checked trousers and fabric variations of the G9.
