In 1981 Betty Jackson launched her first collection which were separates, and were a clever use of tactile fabrics.

Four years later she won the title of British Designer of the Year, and in 1987 she was awarded an MBE.

Tweed Jacket by Betty Jackson is a navy and gold tweed coat with hood. Coat has lantern sleeves, a waist tie, is double breasted and has two side pockets.

Coat Dress by Betty Jackson is a navy blue organza coat dress. Dress has short sleeves, rounded collar, two large side pockets and a waist tie. Dress fastens at the front with two press studs to give a pleating effect, but fits over the head.
