I don’t believe there is such a thing as too much Queen B especially after she wowed the crowds with her amazing Super Bowl half time show. She looked amazing in monochrome at the Grammy’s and now Beyonce has glammed up for a new shoot with American Vogue and their power issue.
She’s our favourite former-member of Destiny’s Child, well the only one who has made waves anyway, and she slipped into an amazing (seriously, wow) romantic and ready for Valentines Day Alexander McQueen gown, posing for Patrick Demarchelier, relaxing on a chaise lounge.
As well as striking a very seductive pose, Beyonce opened up about pregnancy and Blue Ivy. “I felt very maternal around eight months. I thought I couldn’t become any more until I saw the baby… but it happened during my labour because I had a very strong connection with my child…. I felt like when I was having contractions, I envisioned my child pushing through a very heavy door and I imagined this tiny infant doing all the work, so I couldn’t think about my own pain. We were talking… I know it sounds crazy but I felt a communication.”
It may sound mad, but who are we to say anything?
Not only did Beyonce bond with Blue she also says she feels much more grounded since having Blue.
“Family has always been important. I’ve always had my mother and my father and my husband. But it’s just… life is so much more than….. it’s not defined by any of this.”
