Timeline:

The KangaROOS story started in 1979 when the company’s American founder, Bob Gamm, inspired by needing somewhere to put his keys and change while out jogging, designed a pair of trainers with small zipped pockets.

He called the trainers KangaROOS.

From the early origins as a running shoe, the KangaROOS brand has broadened it’s outlook and now includes not only active sports shoes but also sport lifestyle footwear.
