Christian Louboutin Shoes

In 1979 Christian Louboutin noticed a billboard sign in Paris instructing tourists not to scratch the wooden floor in front of the Museum of Oceanic Art with their shoes.

This inspired Louboutin to start drawing pictures of ladies shoes with compressed buckles and soles. Louboutin then decided to attend  several designing schools, such as Chanel’s and Saint Laurent’s.

Louboutin was then able to open a boutique shop in Paris selling shoes of his earlier designs. These shoes had a trademark red leather sole, which made them instantly recognisable.

Definitely one of my favorite shoe designers because the heels always seem to be such a perfect height to show off and accentuate the foot in a pleasing manner.
