In September 2000 a group of friends having a quiet drink in a pub one Friday came up with the idea for Chunk.

The friends were all gathered round an old Haynes manual for a an old Ford Capri MkI, which one of the group had just bought, they were all sat admiring the cover when the lightbulb moment happened someone said,

“wouldn’t that look great on a T-shirt?”

and the rest is history.

Soon after Chunk launched buyers from leading stores leading stores including Harvey Nichols, The Dispensary and Richmond Classics discovered them helping the brand up the first few rungs of the ladder as the Chunk name and range quickly grew.

From the word go it was company policy to produce the finest quality garments at a fair price.

Now as then Chunk takes iconic images and adapts them to put them in different contexts, making them putting a funny or quirky slant on them.

Currently Chunk are producing two seasonal collections a year, two injection ranges and a range of new T-shirt designs every 12 weeks.
