Clothes Show Live 2007

Being a textiles student, I was able to get a place on the annual school trip to Clothes Show Live at the Birmingham NEC. Unfortunately, being the ditzy person that I am, I forgot the time I was meant to be at school to get the coach and ended up an hour early. Everyone was freezing when we finally set off from school, and after over 3 hours of coach journey, we finally arrived at the NEC.

A friend and I spent several hours shopping and searching for bargains (I spent around £80….oops!) and at 4pm we headed to the Nokia Fashion Theatre to see the fashion show which started at 4:15. The 45 minute performace was spectacular, with amazing dance routines, gorgeous toned dancers/models and, of course, beautifully designed clothes.

Included in the clothes shown, was Caprice’s own lingere range by Caprice. That particular part of the Clothes show was enjoyed by most of the men in the audience as it’s unlikely that they wouldn’t want to look at beautiful models wearing nothing but lingere and holding large pink feathered fans.

There was also some eyecandy for the girls, in the form of about a dozen gorgeous topless male models. I doubt that anyone went home from that clothes show dissappointed because it was well worth the money spent.

I thoroughly enjoyed it and am already looking forward to next year’s extravaganza. Anyone interested in fashion (which I’m guessing is most people looking at this website), shopping, scantily clad models, and bargains; I’d definitely recommend going.
