Daisy Lowe looks simply stunning modelling one of her mums (Pearl Lowe) latest designs – the Daisy/Pearl coalition is one of the most successful mother-daughter acts on the high street now that Pearl’s new line is available at your local Peacocks!
Pearl is highly vintage savvy and knows exactly what to put into her pieces while Daisy has a fantastic fashion profile and knows exactly how to model them with her beautiful curvaceous figure along with the allure of the celeb rock’n'roll that circles the pair (Pearl is married to Danny Goffey, drummer of Supergrass and Daisy is ex-girlfriend of Doc number 11 Matt Smith) – they have a winning formula especially with people like Alexa Chung, Holly Willoughby, Sharleen Spiteri, Laura Bailey, Jaimie Winstone and Mischa Barton as top fans with more style cred being added by the fact the newest collaboration has been photographed on Daisy by Rankin.
The last collection Pearl released for Peacocks was released in time for Christmas and sold like hot cakes with the gorgeous black lace prom style dress selling out online on the day of the launch so the new spring/summer collection is sure to be a hit with it’s reprise of favourite retro looks which are inspired by the French Riviera and Brigitte Bardot – the six gorgeous “frockettes” (please pronounce that very carefully) ooze vintage charm and draw attention, in a sweetly sensual manner, to the cleavage and waist.
This range includes a classic Little Black Dress with lace version of Pearl’s “Bow” dress which Daisy wore last winter shortly before Vogue named her of their Best Dressed List. There is also an updated version of last season’s must have polka-dot dress in a romantic black-on-white pin-dot, not to mention a selection of gorgeous vintage style floral prints.
This is Pearl Lowe’s sixth collection for Peacocks which itself dates back to 1884 when the first shop opened in Warrington.
The six dresses are each priced at a fab £40 and were launched into Peacocks stores nationwide and online on March 31st in sizes 8 to 18.
