Scarlett Johansson has announced her engagement to boyfriend and Smokin’ Aces actor Ryan Reynolds.

As with most celebrity engagements top designers jostle to be the one to make the wedding dress. Stella McCartney was at the announcement and immediately offered her services. ‘She said: ‘I’m definitely doing her wedding dress. She doesn’t know it yet.’

McCartney designed Madonna’s gown for the singer’s wedding to Guy Ritchie in 2000.
