Italian fashion designer Alberta Ferretti has entered into an agreement with iconic beauty experts Elizabeth Arden who will produce Alberta Ferretti fragrance, cosmetics and skin care products under license.
Elizabeth Arden will develop and market the collections with Ferretti offering creative input, this agreement continues the current trend for designer cosmetics and fragrances.
The first collection is due to be launched next year.
In a recent interview Alberta Ferretti stated:
“The leadership held by this American company in the fragrance sector enables us to realize commercial development focused also on prestige and quality factors”
This contract strengthens the position of Elizabeth Arden in the European marketplace.
Elizabeth Arden CEO E. Scott Beattie announced:
“Adding the Alberta Ferretti name to our designer fragrance brands allows us to diversify our fragrance brand portfolio and strategically expand our reach of prestige fragrance distribution, particularly in the European market,”
