I have recently taken delivery of the Coho Merino Sweatshirt from Finisterre and I have to say I’m well impressed.
Manufactured from the finest ethically sourced merino wool fibres with an organic cotton outer, this midlayer is about as environmentally friendly as it gets.
The blurb about the Coho Sweatshirt says:
“The merino whisks moisture away from your skin and the cotton rapidly absorbs the moisture away from the merino, leaving you dry and comfortable. you have the warmth of merino with all the durability of cotton. Thermo regulation – designed to keep you warm in cool conditions and cool when it’s hot.”
Well I have seen claims like this before but this time believe you me its true, this past week we have seen some of the higher temperatures of the summer, with chilly evenings but while wearing the Coho I have never felt uncomfortable once.
This is one sweatshirt in my wardrobe that will get a lot of use, not only perfect for sailing, fishing, walking and cycling but also smart enough to wear down the pub without looking like a refugee from a hiking convention.
The Finisterre Coho Merino / Organic Cotton Sweatshirt is available in Storm Blue and Siren Red from www.finisterreuk.com and at just £65 is a veritable bargain.
