Firetrap was formed in 1993 and sells high quality clothing. Its success has been down to word of mouth amongst younger people, rather than huge advertising campaigns.

Firetrap designs clothes such as jeans and tee shirts, however its successful lines have been headwear and footwear. Footwear such as Flip flop sandals, lace up trainers, loafers, and various other types of ladies shoes.

In 2004 to aid in capturing the imagination of the young people the Firetrap icon, Deadly the Gnome was created.

Firetrap has stores in London, Leeds, Liverpool , Milan, Berlin and Moscow.
