Green fashion set to hit £60million
Ethical fashion has boomed in the UK with estimates that the organic cotton market in the UK is expected to be almost £60million by this year end.
High street retailers have responded by catering to the high demand for green fashion, lead by New look and H&M who have expanded their organic cotton ranges made from cotton.
New Look has recently launched its third organic clothing collection, this collection includes denim cut-offs, jeans, dresses and shirts.
Guy Lister, New Look’s marketing director, said
“Organic fashion gives us a point of difference. It’s been flying out of our stores”.
A quarter of British women describe themselves as ethical shoppers when it comes to clothing.
Natural Collection have a wide range of ethical goods including clothing.
