HOM - Inovation in Masculine elegance
French specialists in men’s designer underwear HOM were founded at Marseilles, France in 1968.
The target market for HOM is the active male, there are no age restrictions.
HOM create elegant, innovative high quality products providing not only underwear but also beachwear and homewear.
Right from the start HOM were at the forefront of innovation, in 1968 they created the first briefs with a soft pouch giving comfort where previously there had been only a squeeze or no support at all, the pouch is now an integral part of all male briefs.
Over the years the innovation has continued examples include:
- 1970 the first transparent briefs shocked the world, and were extremely successful.
- 1976 the creation of Homix, the first briefs without an elastic waistband.
- 1984 the use of the inner brief meant full support in boxer shorts for the first time.
- 1995 the launch of Homsport, the first briefs specifically for sports.
- 1997 HOM created HOI Total comfort, horizontally opening briefs for comfort and hygiene.
- 1999 Asymmetric socks developed, the first socks shaped for the left and the right foot, allowing greater comfort.
- 2002 The 3001 collection, the first ‘Male Lingerie’ collection.
- 2006 HOM Vintage, new up to date versions of the classic styles.
Home remains a respected market leader in the male underwear field, pushing out the boundaries and setting the trends for future fashion.
