Design Director Tess Richards joined the Jigsaw clothing design team in March 2009 and the fantastic Jigsaw Spring / Summer 2010 collection is her first full season collection since taking the reins.
Instead of us trying to introduce the new collection, here is what Tess has to say about what her wonderful team has created;
“Jigsaw is so beloved for its British heritage, not only in its design but in the hearts and histories of its customers. Having been a customer for so many years (thank you to the Guildford store for looking after me so well!), I understand how Jigsaw is a brand you feel that you know. My hope is to capture that spirit and make sure Jigsaw lives up to all expectations for Spring Summer and seasons to come.”
They have considered heart and soul of the Jigsaw brand, its Britishness, its heritage, its opulence but also its difference, quirkiness, edginess, its feeling of unique.
For the SS10 season Jigsaw goes global, a city traveller. Taking inspiration worldwide on silhouette, print and vintage detailing, they have blended these into the traditions of this most English of brands to produce a diverse collection of moods, textures, colours and shapes to take the customer on a journey throughout the season ahead.
