Kate Middleton; the Duchess of Cambridge has gone and done it again!
“It” being wearing the perfect outfit and capturing a classic silhouette for another royal occasion; all in another Alexander McQueen as well!
For the Service of Thanksgiving at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London, Kate wore a beautiful pearlescent and nude lace silk mix dress, adding a matching satin box clutch bag and a hat (a fascinator I believe) by Jane Taylor.
The simple lace mix dress with satin waist detail is by Brit fashion house Alexander McQueen which is fast becoming the go-to label for Kate; who is known for her ability to mix and match high street fashion with high fashion.
The Duchess even managed to pull a Pippa on the steps of St Paul’s (try saying that faster).
Over the course of the Jubilee weekend this is the third time that Kate has worn McQueen; on Sunday she wore a very regal pillarbox red McQueen for the Queen’s pageant and then at the Jubilee concert Kate layered a McQueen blazer over a £120 Whistles dress.
Voila… a Jubilee fashion hat-trick and a bit of a flash back to just over a year ago when Kate wore McQueen for her nuptials.
Seriously though; why mess with a fashion formula like McQueen if it works?!
