Lee is a famous brand of denim jeans founded in 1889, at Salina, Kansas, and is owned by the VF Corporation. Henry David Lee was motivated by the inconsistent quality of foreign workwear, and decided to produce Quality American garments.
In 1911 Lee designed the Lee overall. The first model was named the Lee Bib Overall. Made in 8 ounce denim, it sported a multi-functional breast pocket and a button fly.
