Marc Jacobs was born in New York City in 1963.

In 1994 he started his own brand with the Marc Jacobs Collection, which was followed in 1997 with Marc Jacobs Men, and in 2000 Marc By Marc Jacobs.

Marc Jacobs who won the Perry Ellis Gold Thimble Award at Parsons School of Design is one of the most prominent designers on the fashion scene. He is well known for is collaboration projects with Wranglers and Vans Footwear.
