Marc Jacobs International the company headed by fashion designer Marc Jacobs is under investigation for allegedly bribing an official to host shows at the historic 69th Regiment Armory in downtown Manhattan.

The Company is accused of paying out over $30,000 (about £15,000) to the Armory’s former superintendent for preferential access to the famous New York building.

The ex-superintendent has been charged with bribery and extortion, prompting the investigation.

No statement has yet been issued by Marc Jacobs International.
