On the opening day of Milan’s spring/summer 2008 menswear collections leading Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana has premiered its 2008 summer menswear collection which has a distinct military flavour.

The D&G signature line show was an array of armed forces colours, khaki, navy, black and white, tattooed models had cropped military-style haircuts and wore peaked soldiers’ hats or baseball caps.

The design team of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have included in the collection fatigue-style trousers with pockets and webbing holders for phones or hip flasks, camouflage patterned swimming trunks and t shirts, military style fatigues with tiny lights that glow in the dark and complimenting the collection was an army style kit bag to carry accessories.
