Oxfam planning launch of ethical fashion stores
Oxfam has revealed plans to convert a number of its charity stores into a chain of clothing stores selling ethical fashion with the help of Jane Shepherdson, who is said to have agreed to work on a voluntary basis.
Shepherdson, prevously employed by Topshop introduced ethical fashion brand People Tree in to their stores, she now works as an advisor to Japanese based People Tree.
It is expected that under the new initiative Oxfam will be offering clothing made from organic cotton and other sustainable raw materials.
