Finally, long awaited new details have emerged about the Karl Lagerfeld and Macy’s collaboration that has been in the making for over a year. It has emerged that instead of just selling in urban flagships, as was expected, the line will actually go out to over 200 of Macy’s 800 stores and will probably completely sell out on macys.com (I do believe they ship the world over).
Now, I wrote a couple of days ago about Kanye West breaking into fashion and I wasn’t actually expecting to hear any more about it for about 12 months; however it seams the megastar and stylish producer/rapper will be releasing a new collection later on this year in a collaborative effort with the award winning British fashion designer Louise Goldin.
One of the most loveable aspects of Emma Watson is actually her most disarming too; it’s not her increasingly thoughtful way of portraying the lovable geek Hermione in Harry Potter or even her enchanting transformation from a young on-screen school girl to an offscreen adult fashion pixie…it is in fact how charming she is at such a young age and for a woman of such magnificent stardom. The Italian designer clothing company target group is the lucrative 18 to 35 years old market, and they also have a kids and sportswear line.
The Diesel name is licensed to other companies to produce footwear, leather goods, eye wear, jewellery, and watches. However the main line is the selling of denim jeans produced in Italy.
London Fashion Week is fast coming up and the provisional schedule for the week’s spring/summer 2010 season has been released. There are a few new additions and returnees in the mix for you and the most exciting new addition is Tom Ford, who has been added to the on-schedule for the very first time.
