Also used in their shoe construction is natural rubber, natural latex, vegetable-tanned leather or organically grown unbleached hemp which is sourced from Ecolution in Romania. The soles feature a ‘butterfly suspension’ under the coconut and latex ‘mattress’ which helps to soften the impact of the wearer’s foot against the ground as does the ‘mattress’ between this suspension and the foot which, over time, molds itself to the wearer’s foot and also softens the impact caused by walking.
