Power dressing in the 80’s was all about the shoulder pads, and the fashion pack have been hotly tipping them as one of the key trends for Autumn/Winter 09. But fear not, because this time round they’re looking uber cool.
The Deptfor jacket (£179) from Ted Baker’s new Langley Court collection is a great example of how to wear the trend well. The structured shoulders and sleeves are vamped up with rouching and zips, while the high shine finish gives this black jacket a totally edgy rock chick twist.
Team with skinny black trousers (i.e. Ted Baker’s ‘Servan’ ones for £59) and a silk top (‘Pharo’, £89) for a sexy look.
