 Prada was established in 1913 by Mario Prada. The company was initially called Prada Brothers just selling leather goods.

In 1978, Mario’s granddaughter Miuccia Prada inherited the business from her mother, and led the company’s expansion into couture with an overall more bohemian style.

Prada is now considered one of the most influential clothing designers in the fashion industry with their Mui Miu line, and sports line Linea Rossa.
