Niel Barrett is the inspiration behind Puma 96 hours, and he was born in Devon, England in 1965. He graduated from the prestigious Central St Martins College of Art & Design in London with a BA in Men’s Fashion Design in 1986.

In 1989 he graduated from the Royal College of Art in London with a Master’s in Men’s Fashion. He then went onto work for Gucci, Prada and Armani before being named a Creative Director for Puma in 2003.
