Her stage fashions range from lazy and slob-like to raunchy and extreme and now Rihanna is getting set to create her very own fashion range for River Island.
The “Talk that Talk” singer, whose looks are copied by fans the world over, is collaborating with the high street chain to design a capsule collection for the spring of 2013. Talking about the opportunity the 24 year old Barbados born beauty says “I’ve been wanting to design my own collection for some time. River Island is the perfect partner for me to collaborate with and working with a British, family run business also really appealed to me. I find London really inspiring and River Island love to have fun with clothes. I’m looking forward to working with them and creating something really special.”
The only downside to this collaboration is that most people do not look like Rihanna and generally have to starve themselves and workout like there is no tomorrow to get her figure. Which means there will be many people who will be rather heartbroken when they battle with the body-to-fabric Rihanna-style outfits.
Rihanna is currently rumoured to be taking a holiday with her ex-boyfriend Drake has recently branched out into fashion and is an executive producer for a new Sky Living TV show called “Styled to Rock” which is set to find the next big thing in fashion during the series. There will be three celebrity mentors; Nicola Roberts (Girls Aloud), fashion designer Henry Holland and stylist Lysa Cooper.
