Kate Middleton the girlfriend of Prince William has resigned from her job as an accessories buyer for fashion chain Jigsaw, could this mean that a royal engagement is on the cards?

John and Belle Robinson the joint owners of Jigsaw created the position especially for Miss Middleton just under a year ago, tailoring it to fit in with her royal commitments.

Kate reportedly told friends that she left Jigsaw in order to have “time to herself”.
