Sergio Tacchini is an Italian fashion designer of sportswear. He started working with his partner in 1966 designing elegant and stylish tenniswear for ladies. Due to the initial success he expanded the brand to other sports such as ski, fitness, golf, sailing, and then into leisure wear.

Many great athletes have joined the Sergio Tacchini brand over the years. Most of them are well-known tennis players from the 1970s and 1980s such as Jimmy Connors, John McEnroe, Martina Navratilova, Pete Sampras, Martina Hingis and Goran Ivaniševic when he famously won the Wimbledon title.

Sponsorship has now moved on to other sports such as golfer Ian Woosnam, and England cricketer Ian Bell.
