Stardust is a fantastic clothing brand creating designer clothes for children.
The label was founded in 1998 and for over a decade the label has produced a fantastic range of in-house designed clothing, cards gifts and accessories aimed towards babies and small children. Stardust Kids Clothing is a little out of the ordinary when compared to other baby clothes manufacturers as their inspiration comes from punk rock, kitsch and iconography.
The first big break that gained them worldwide recognition was in 2004 when their Baby Punk designs were shown in the Vivienne Westwood exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum. Stardust creates clothing that appeals to both the kids and their parents, which allows mum and dad to pass on a small bit of anarchy to their children.
The Stardust range includes t-shirts, dresses, hoodies and playsuits and many celebrities dress their children in stardust clothing, such as; Drea de Matteo, Jo Whiley, Nigella Lawson and Claudia Winkleman. In addition to the children’s clothing line, the same company have also recently launched a womenswear brand which goes by the name Dust, at the beginning of the year, the dust boutique won the Best Independent Retailer of the Year award.
