Ted Baker on the up

Fashion Chain and designer label Ted Baker has reported a 13% growth in its own stores, largely due to the massive success of its spring and summer ranges.

This surge in sales more than compensates for the fact that the Ted Baker wholesale arm is struggling with a 6.7% drop on sales compared to the same period in 2006.

Despite the obvious problems Ted Baker are keen to continue with overseas growth, today Chief executive Ray Kelvin announced new licensed stores in Taiwan, Dubai and Kuala Lumpur.
