Nirvana and Pearl Jam were becoming popular and Volcom fully embraced all that youth culture stood for at that time.
Tucker Hall and Richard Woolcott the founding partners toured the world and slowly the brand started to grow.
Volcom’s lack of respect to almost everything makes it a very independent brand. It expresses its creativity through music, art, and film as well as skaters, surfers and snowboarders.
The reason Volcom is still highly regarded is because of its originality and its utter refusal to do what all the other big brands are doing.
